Ål folkepark og ferieland will be closed from spring 2012 due to a complete reconstruction. From summer 2013 you will find a brand new 5* camping site here which is called 61 Nord Hallingdal Feriepark.
Ål Folkepark og ferieland has been a traditional camping site which also has arranged concerts, fairs and exhibitions throughout the summer period. We can mention f. ex the yearly Ål-Exhibition and the Hellbillies concert.
Ål folkepark lies about 1,5 km west of Ål centre.
The camping site has areas for camping wagons and tents, and cabins with and without water in the cabin. 2 of the cabins have water, the other 24 don't. Totally it is 128 beds.
