Ål - location and transport

Ål is located between Oslo and Bergen and the main transport communications is  Rv 7 (High Road) and the Bergen railway.


Rv7: Oslo-Ål-Bergen
Take the main road from Oslo towards west, signed to Bergen. After about 3 hours drive and 215 km you will reach Ål. The trip to Bergen goes via Hardangervidda to Hardanger and then Bergen.(Ferry between Brimnes-Bruravik)

Flåmsbana: Experience Flåmsbana, the incredible train journey between the high mountain station Myrdal at the Bergenrailway down to Flåm Station in the inner  Aurlandsfjorden, www.flaamsbana.no
