Events

Throughout the year several events find place in Ål. We have the pleasure to presenting a varity within sports, music and market days.

We start the spring- and summer season with the eldest folk music festival in Norway, The Norwegian Folk Music Week, followed by Ål-Ustillinga (Ål-Exhibition) in June with cattle show, exhibitors, traditional food and entertainment. Don't miss the Ål-Fair in the end of July and The Summer Mountain Farmday where summer farm traditions are combined with competitions and local food.

Of sports events most of them come to Ål every Ål, and they have in common that the children are in focus. We are happy to arrange both Ål Cup in handball and football, Bendit Alpine- and Bendit Liatoppen Biathlon Festival.
