Spend a week skiing across the Hallingdal mountains, or take a day trip ? the choice is yours! The Hallingdal route, formerly know as the Adventure route, goes past all the popular cross-country ski areas in Hallingdal. If you?re planning a trip over several days, there are many accommodation options.

The southern Hallingdal route
The Hallingdal route follows the northern and southern boundaries of the Hallingdal valley. The southern route runs from Ustaoset via Kikut, Sangefjell, Veståsen and Nes to Norefjell, a total of 144 km. The route is also accessible from Ål via Veståsen.

Important information for 2011:
There will be some changes in the Hallingdal Route on Nes's side. They will make normal skitracks from Dyna to Bruset, but from Bruset to Liaset ( 8 km) no tracks will be prepared.
Due to this problem an alternative track will be prepared this year which goes from Myking - Såtenatten - Rødungen - Tunhovd - Buvatn and to Øyvatn. From here you can continue on the normal Hallingdal Route to Norefjell. We apologize for the challanges this will lead to, but hope you still will have a nice skiing experience along the Hallingdal Route.

The northern Hallingdal route
The 77 km long northern route starts at Myrland and carries on to Bergsjø, Tormodset and Gaurhovd and ends at Gol ski centre.
