Cross-country

Cross-country skiing enthusiasts might very well find their dream in Ål. With 400 km of groomed trails running from 450 - 1250 metres above sea level we offer fantastic possibillities.

The Bergsjø area is a fantastic area for cross-country enthusiasts. Here the contrasts are big and the weather can change quickly - wild, rough but charming.

At Liatoppen you will find our biathlon and cross-country arena. Througout the winter season many competitions are held here.

Flood lit trails for evening skiing at Liatoppen, Ål skicentre, Leveld and Vats.

If your family is devided between alpine and cross-country skiers, then both Ål skicentre and Skarslia skicentre are excellent starting points.
