Walks in the centre of Ål
In addition to great hiking trails in the mountain areas of Ål, there are some nice walks you can take which have a starting point in the centre of Ål. At the tourist information office you will find a map of 5 different walks, with a description of the walks on the back of the map. At the tourist information office you will also find a map of the centre of Ål.

Sundreberget (4 km)
The walks to Sundreberget starts in Trolldalsvegen at Torget in Ål, or in Øvre-Ål by the information board. The path is clearly marked to Sundreberget. It is then possible to follow the path along the hillside for a roundtrip before getting back to Sundreberget and centre of Ål. On the trip you will get a nice view of Sundre and Vestlia, as well as information boards about the geology, flora, fauna, culture and history.

Nasakamben(4-5 km)
A well marked path which starts in Nossvegen at Bakketeigen. The path is quite steep at the beginning. It is possible to take another path on your way down, by Orreleiksmyra and Dekkadn.
From the top of Nasakamben you will have a great view of Strandafjorden, centre of Ål, and the East of Hallingdal valley.
