Ål has a powerful nature with paths and old trails in the whole community. You can find everything from small round-trips, DNT-tracks in Skarvheimen or maybe a hike to the amazing Reineskarvet at 1791 masl.

You can take short hikes, maybe bring a fishingrod and some lunch and find peace and quite in the beautiful nature Ål is surrounded by.
There are also several associations which organizes hikes with guides, you can buy the folder "På tur i Ål" and walk on you own and you can check the webpage Ål52 which publises discription and maps of hikes that you can print and bring with you. Here you find the brochure "Hiking and walking tours in Ål - Ål 52" which gives you a short descrition of 10 popular hikes.
