Road fishing in Ål

"Rod fishing in Ål" is a co-operation between different landowners and fishing organizations in Ål. They offer an easy way to buy fishing licence, and are also working with marking of paths and making sure there is easy access to the mountain lakes.

The new brochure "Sports Fising in Ål" include useful information about the different fishing zones in Ål. Fishing licence can be bought at the local sports shops, Statoil petrol station, Ål Tourist Information Office and nearly every accommodation place in Ål.

News summer 2011:
- In Bergsjøområdet you can now fish in almost 20 trout-waters with one new combined fishing permit. The zones you are allowed to fish in are 7, 8, 9, 10 og 13. See fishing brochure.

- In Ål Fishing- and hunting assoction's waters in Veståsen you can now also buy fishing permits via SMS. Card for 24 hrs - send fiskekort agg11 to 2470, NOK 63. Card for 72 hrs - send fiskekort agg12 to 2470, NOK 145.

All fishing waters are marked on the tour maps Reineskarvet and Veståsen/Sangefjell (1:50 000)
