Fishing
Ål JFF manages 6 fishingwaters at Veståsen in Ål. Trolltjerni, Hesttjerni, Presttjørni, Øyetjern, Klypetjern and Butjørni. At Hesttjerni you can find a handicap quay.
You can buy a fishing licence by self-serviced boxes near Trolltjerni, Hesttjerni and Rota. A return of the licence, with reports of your catch while fishing, can be delievered in the self-serviced boxes or posted to:

Leader of the Fishing and Hunting Association, Trond Ellingsen, is responsible in 2011/2012 for the hunting terrains and selling of licences.
Hunting
Ål Hunting- and fishing Association has 3 hunting areas at Veståsen with a rich bird- and animal life. The terrain is varied and you can hunt in forest- and high mountain for hare, capercaillie, black grouse and grouse. To be able to hunt for deer you need to be a member of Ål JFF. Hunting with dogs in Ål JFF's terrains are not allowed. Hunting licences can be bought at G-Sport in Ål centre.
Ål Hunting and Fishing Association will try their best to arrange a hunting course and test once a year. If you are interested, please contact the Hunting Association in advance.

Ål JFF manages a clubhouse just by the claypigeon field at Hadding shooting area and a couple of cabins at Veståsen which can be rented.
