Hallingdal Paraglider Club has several different flight starts in Hallingdal, and of the best ones are to be found in Liagardane i Ål.
This is due to the newly established start, The King Start, the thermal comes early and the good difference in heights.

Hallingdal Paraglider Club was established in 2006 and in May 2009 they arranged a successful Norwegian Championship in paragliding.
