Trade and business in Ål

In Ål you find several stores and service businesses, most of them within the centre of Ål; Sundre.
Sundre is an intimate and nice centre, where store and businesses are gathered within a small area.

Centrally placed is Ålingen Shopping centre with approx 15 stores, post and bank.  You will find most of the stores in Sundrevegen and Helsetunvegen.

The pedestrian precinct Myren is Hallingdals only carfree zone in the summertime, and opened the summer of 2007. It is located between the shopping centre and Sundrevegen. A cosy and child-friendly shopping street  with benches and a green profile. During spring 2009 the last parts towards east will be finished.
The pedestrian precinct is closed for cars between 15th May - 15th September and is the rest of the year a one-way street.

Just beside you have Ål Culture House with café, library, galleries, tourist information and wellness/massage.
