Come and join us for a walk among art and cultural treasures in the centre of Ål! The walk will take you all the way from the 12th Century and up til today.
The walk starts at the Ål Tourist Information which is located in the Ål Culture Centre. The price is NOK 65 per person. Free admission for children under 16 years when accommpanied with an adult.
The cultural centre has several art exhibitions. We can f. ex mention the Rolf Nesch Museum.
In Ål Church you will see a copy of the famous Ål painted ceiling, which once upon a time was to be found in Ål Stave Church, which was demolished in 1880.
The walk ends at the Stave Church Museum. This museum exhibits parts of the old Stave Church which was regarded one of the most interestring buildings in medieval Norway.
